Chapter 15 starts out with Major Anderson and Colonel Graff discussing Graff's trial on the treatment of Ender and the death of Stilson and Bonso. The two talk about Ender and what they want to do now that the war is over.
Later in the chapter, Valentine meets up with Ender in space and informs him about Peter, and why Ender can't go back to Earth. After telling Ender about the plan to repopulate the bugger worlds, Ender decides to tag along with Valentine (who wants to write about the bugger wars) and the children who will populate the empty worlds. After a year, the worlds have fully developed. Later on, Ender and a child named Abra visit an unihabited planet which is awfully familiar to Ender. He eventually discovers the world is an exact replica of the game Ender played on his desk. Ender then makes his way to the tower where the snake would have been, and moved the mirror. Behind it Ender found an object that looked like and egg, and picked it up. After he lifted it, mysterious thoughts and memories flew through his head, and he figured out the egg was for the next bugger queen. Ender decides to help repopulate the buggers, and clear their name.
"And always Ender carried with him a dry white cocoon, looking for a place where the hive-queen could awaken and thrive in peace. He looked a long time."
This quote is important because it is saying Ender traveled for a very long time with the bugger egg hoping to find a place where it could hatch unharmed. This also paves the way for the sequel books.
